Abstract

The work described serves farmers and on-farm experimentation in a number of ways: (1) the system outlined will offer near real-time feedback on potential disease outbreaks among livestock on farms; (2) it enables veterinary policy to be updated and regional advice on biosecurity measures to be issued to targeted farmers; (3) farmer-led data collection empowers farmers for future on-farm experimentation.
