Abstract
This research is directly linked to farmers’ problem and its scientific solution. In arid zones old varieties and poor management practices lead to failure of oilseed crops causing heavy losses to the farmers. Introduction of better varieties with scientific culti- vation can help to solve this problem. To prove this theory, frontline demonstrations (FLDs) were conducted in Pali district for sesame and mustard crop during 2017-2020 on farmer’s field according to a recommended package of practices with farmers prac- ticing as control plot in demonstration clusters.
