Abstract

This fact sheet describes the scientific evidence of whether the organophosphate insecticide dichlorvos affects the risk of breast cancer and other cancers. This includes information on its use in agriculture and in the home, how federal agencies regulate this pesticide, who may be exposed, a summary of the studies that have evaluated its cancer risk, where more research is needed, and how to minimize exposure to dichlorvos.
