This notebook contains research results (primarily summaries of extended Hückel calculations on a wide variety of organic compounds and intermediates in organic reactions), plans, and reading records of Roald Hoffmann, while he was a Junior Fellow at Harvard University. The entries are in pencil, colored pencil, ball-point pen, colored ball-point, and fountain pen . The pages are generally undated, with some scattered dates. The earliest recorded date is April 17 (1964), the latest is July 29 (1964). This notebook contains the first notebook page recording what was to become the collaboration between Hoffmann and R. B.
