Volume 1 consists of the main text of the thesis and Appendix 1. Volume 2 consists of Appendix 2 with a collection of supporting photographs (see below for a link to our online Book Reader).

Description
The staff of Cornell University's Fine Arts Library thanks the family of Clifford H. Ruffner, Jr., author of this title, for permission to make a digital copy of this important and popular title. By doing so, we are able to extend access to its content to a much broader community. The availability of a complete online version also allows us to transfer the original two-volume source to a more appropriate storage facility, ensuring its availability to future generations of researchers and architecture enthusiasts. Thanks also to the staff of the Digital Consulting and Production Services (DCAPS) department of Cornell University Library for doing such a fine job of reproducing and indexing these volumes. The image quality is excellent and the content is enhanced by electronic search capabilities.
