Abstract

Response to Hayah Katz's article attempting to downdate the massive inset-outset wall at Tell en-Nasbeh (biblical Mizpah of Benjamin) to the 8th c. B.C.E. Problems associated with dating the wall are discussed and the traditional date of the wall to the 9th c. is affirmed.
