Conditions Conducive to Pest Problems in Food Handling Facilities. Pest management in food handling establishments is necessary to protect public health and mitigate risks to the food supply. In this segment, learn about the conditions that allow pests to access food handling facilities, and where established populations find sources of food, water and shelter.
