Formerly known as the Community and Rural Development Institute, the Community and Regional Development Institute (CaRDI) is a group of research and outreach faculty and professionals working in critical areas of community development, such as land use, regional economic development, community and energy, and demographics. CaRDI publications provide readers with research-based information to help foster dialogue at the local, regional and state-level, and to inform public and private decision-making around critical community and economic development issues. Our publications are written by university faculty, state agency representatives, and CCE Educators, among other partners.
