NYS IPM Type: Project Report
This apple growing season 6 farms were involved in the IPM Program in Orange and Ulster Counties. All 6 growers had positive experiences with the scouts and program procedures. Harvest evaluations were conducted and showed that there was no significant difference between apples under IPM program management and those managed more conventionally. In several cases, growers followed IPM program recommendations on the entire farm.
