dc.description.abstractFrom the video archives of the Cornell Law School Heritage Project. The interviewer is Stewart J. Schwab; the videographer, Michael d’Estries. This video covers Peter W. Martin's reflections on his career as a law professor, from his earliest connections to Cornell onward. Peter Martin is the Jane M.G. Foster Professor of Law, Emeritus, co-founder of Cornell's Legal Information Institute (LII), and a former dean of Cornell Law School. After his graduation from Harvard Law School in 1964, Professor Martin spent three years in the Air Force General Counsel's Office, and then began his teaching career at the University of Minnesota Law School. He joined the Cornell Law School Faculty in 1972, and served as Dean from 1980 to 1988.en_US
