This burden is especially felt in rural areas that agriculture and women's economic empowerment projects operate in. Time use is a determinant of overall well- being and the right to reasonable work hours, leisure and rest is a human right. Development projects have a responsibility to at a minimum do no harm. This document summarizes the literature on gender-responsive and gender-transformative practitioner approaches as well as guidance for integrating time use considerations into monitoring and evaluation efforts.enBuiling practitioner approaches to address time poverty in the context of agricultural development and women's economic empowerment programsdissertation or thesis
