   <dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract">This thesis was conducted remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic, encapsulating many of the processes, thoughts, and progress that have led up to the artist’s current animation practice. Ultimately, this thesis meditates on my progress through a 2-year MFA program and the evolution of a practice that bridges ‘traditional’ and modern storytelling mediums. The final animation thesis project tells the story of a woman born from a bewildering Wāḳwāḳ tree who stumbles through the gardens of divinity and misfortune. As a physical exhibition is not feasible at the time of writing, the thesis is left in a state of unforeseeable incompletion.</dim:field>
