Abstract
In this research, we described a new catalytic strategy that merges the power of light and electricity to obtain a super-reducing radical anion of NTCDA-TPAPA. The excited NTCDA-TPAPA radical anion with high reducing ability is supposed to activate aryl halide substrates with a very high reduction potential (Ered<-1.90V) under a mild condition. This electrophotocatalysis help to overcome the limitation of potential back electron transfer and ensure sustainability with little waste.
