Think academic libraries and public libraries have nothing in common? While there are distinct differences, (communities served, services and programs), they are more alike than you might think (collections, online resources and dedication to service). After spending most of her career in academic libraries, Susan made the leap to a busy public library and has been taking note of the differences and the similarities ever since.
