dc.description.abstractConsumers take voluntary risks as they navigate the supermarket and select foods and diets. Labeling is a critical tool for information for consumers, yet many are routinely confused about how to select food that is conducive to good health. They need to better understand food-processing technologies like radiation, organic, and what is implied, or not, by the marketing term “natural.”
