Financial constraints, end of life decisions and urinary tract disease manifested through persistent hematuria come together in a case of presumptive renal neoplasia for an eleven-year-old Boxer, Urinmy tract disease diagnostic work up and renal neoplasia will be discussed in the context of incidences, prioritizing diagnostic procedures and maximizing quality of life through palliative pain management therapy.
