Abstract
This brochure on Diabetes and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is one of a series on human resources practices and workplace accommodations for persons with disabilities edited by Susanne M. Bruyère, Ph.D., CRC, SPHR, Director, Program on Employment and Disability, School of Industrial and Labor Relations – Extension Division, Cornell University. It was extenstively revised and updated in 2001 by Shereen Arent, National Director of Legal Advocacy, American Diabetes Association from the original, which was written in 1993 by Mary B. Dickson. It was reviewed for accuracy and timeliness in 2009 by Brian Dimick, Associate Director, Government Affairs and Advocacy, American Diabetes Association.

This material was produced by the Employment and Disability Institute in the Cornell University ILR School.
