Description
A winner of the John S. Knight Assignment Sequence Prize, this sequence originates from English 105, Women and Writing: Interior Decorating-The Making of the Female Mind. In a three and a half week sequence of preparatory writing and essay assignments, including experiential learning activities taking place in spaces on campus, the assignments aim (1) to help students come to understand how identity and behavior are influenced by spatial constraints and considerations and (2) to prepare students for a reading of and paper on Virginia Woolf's A Room of One's Own, the final text for the course. 13 page pdf
