dc.description.abstractSeveral ways to increase diversity in academic leadership positions are suggested. This might include limiting terms for deans, department chairs and others to 4-5 year terms renewable once and changing those job descriptions to accommodate greater flexibility for high quality candidates with diverse portfolios.
