Request for Review of the GSP Status of the Republic of Niger for Violations of Worker Rights

Abstract
The ILRF submitted this petition to request a review of the Republic of Niger’s designation as a least-developed beneficiary developing country under the Trade Act of 1974, Generalized System of Preferences (GSP). The petition contends that the government of Niger failed to implement commitments to eliminate child labor, and thus its status as a least-developed beneficiary developing country should be revoked.
