Workers’ Rights Advocates Respond to Recent Garment Sweeps: Enforcing Labor Laws Must Be More Than Just a “Photo-op”

Abstract
The article highlights several responses of workers’ rights advocates to the garment sweeps conducted by California’s Labor & Workforce Development Agency. While the efforts of the Administration are appreciated by these advocates, they feel much more needs to be done to ensure the proper protection of workers’ rights in the California garment industry.
