A Missed Opportunity: The World Bank’s World Development Report 1995: Workers in an Integrating World

Author
Levinson, Jerome I.
Abstract
Levinson argues that the World Bank’s 1995 Development Report could have provided leadership on how competition for capital can be reconciled with workers’ interests. Rather, he contends that the World Bank report rejects workers’ rights and blames unions for keeping unorganized workers down.
