Abstract
[Excerpt] On behalf of the AFL-CIO, I am writing to urge you to support "Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century" (MAP-21) when the Environment and Public Works Committee holds its markup this Thursday. MAP-21 would help bring America's transportation system into the 21st century, while protecting 1.8 million jobs and creating up to a million more.
