dc.description.abstractThis bulletin on new estimates of working life for men and women continues the BLS series begun in 1950, and incorporates methodological improvements introduced in 1982. It contains, in addition to a discussion of changes in worklife expectancy since 1977 - first published in the March 1982, Monthly Labor Review updated and expanded worklife tables for 1980, including the effects of race and educational attainment on worklife expectancy.
