Development of Disease-Resistant Brassica Vegetables

Abstract

During the past year, this project made substantial progress toward production of Brassica oleracea lines with resistance to crucifer diseases and insects through cell culture or gene transfer approaches. The improved materials developed could be useful in cabbage as well as other Brassica vegetables.
