For almost thirty years, as a social historian and activist, then as an artist, writer and curator, I have explored the relationship between collective, collaborative and subjective forms of social and creative expression. My interest is in the emergence of informal and formal social groupings and cultures from the complex intersections of individuals, circumstances and ideas.
