Biofuels: An Important part of a low-carb Diet

Author
Steven Bantz
Abstract
We need to minimize the global-warming impact of the fuels that we use, their carbon intensity and need to combine expansion of biofuel consumption with improvements in fuel economy and conservation and smart growth to reduce our demand for petroleum. We also need to make sure that expansion of biofuel consumption has no adverse effects on public health. Bio-energy developments will expand economic opportunity for everyone along the supply chain who participates, including farmers in the US as in the developing world.
