CVM White Coat Ceremony (2004-present)

Permanent URI for this collection

A White Coat Ceremony is held each year at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine since 2004. At this special event, third year class students receive a “white coat” from their mentors who have encouraged them in their studies and career development. This tradition symbolizes professionalism and empathy in the practice of veterinary medicine as students make the transition from the classroom into the clinical environment.
