As an artist, I have spent much of my career seeking to expand the definition of animation.
My work explores stillness within movement and the significance of small gestures, as well as visual, associative, and cinematic languages. My art practice includes painting, drawing, animation, and new media. All of these mediums are tools to research and experiment with, imparting particular non-verbal ideas related to the body, life cycles, emotional and spiritual states of being.
(2006-12-04)The Orade's Passage will be an interactive, installation piece that seeks to create an imaginary sanctum that invites the audience to interact with animated characters using their voices and bodily movements.
