Abstract
Memorial Statement for Professor Gary Robert Bolton, D.V.M. (1942-1982) who was Assistant Professor (1970) and Associate Professor (1974) of Small Animal Medicine at the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine. A gifted teacher, "his primary interest was cardiology, which he developed into a productive referral service and teaching program for students and practitioners." In his short career, he authored over 30 publications, including "Handbook of Canine Electrocardiography" which became a leading text in Veterinary Cardiology. The memorial statements contained herein were prepared by the Office of the Dean of the University Faculty of Cornell University to honor its faculty for their service to the university.
