The Eugene B. Dynkin Collection of Mathematics Interviews has moved.

The online Dynkin collection archive contains digitized copies of audio and video interviews conducted with mathematicians by Eugene Dynkin from the media in his extensive collection. The contents of the physical collection can be seen here. This collection is in the process of being updated to a newer delivery platform. Material from the collection can still be utilized in several ways. The original site, released in 2011, has been archived and is made available via the WayBack Machine Archive-It service. (NOTE: not all resources or navigation are functional on this archived version of the Dynkin website.) The archived site includes the mathematician biographical information as well as the photographs from the collection. The audio and video content from the collection is now available on the Cornell Library MediaSpace site. Metadata associated with the interviews and transcripts, when available, remains on the archived site during this transition. That site also contains biographical information and photos of these prominent mathematicians. Read the Introduction webpage from the archived site for more information.

Professor Dynkin died on November 14, 2014, read his obituary here. His wonderful foresight enabled this mathematics history to preserved before his passing. Contributions to this collection are needed, namely lists of topics covered in the interviews and translations or transcripts.
