Linear Periodic Time Varying Circuits for Interference Tolerant Radios

Author
Boynton, Zachariah Gardner
Abstract
Modern communications must contend with more than just the noise floor, the wireless environment has become heavily crowded and necessitates a focus on communication systems that are tolerant of interferers. The work presented in this thesis focuses on how linear periodic time varying (LPTV) circuits may be used to mitigate challenges with interferers. Specifically this work demonstrates different duplexing radios, provides new analysis on a known mechanism for interference sensitivity, and seeks to extend existing topologies to meet future wireless demands through furthered understanding of performance limiting factors.
