This Verite Update announces Verite’s new model for hiring foreign contract laborers so as to eliminate debt bondage among workers. A pilot program aims at securing jobs under fair and legal conditions for Philippine immigrants in Taiwan. Plans exist expand the program to additional Southeast Asian countries.
