"Darkness (Not Darkness)" is a 40 minute non-narrative video work. The video is derived from images of Kuwait in the aftermath of the first Gulf War in 1991. There is a steady slow flow of painterly abstraction. Occasionally legible images emerge, occasionally an action startles. The mood is contemplative and somber.
