Abstract

Principal presentation at CALI conference in June 2004 at which the CODEC (distance learning) initiative of the organization was introduced. It explained the choices of medium (audio rather than video) and pedagogical structure (paced asynchronous) of the LII's method of build, conducted, and sustaining a distance course.
