Abstract
As part of discovery work in the Linked Data for Production: Closing the Loop (LD4P3) grant, we reviewed multiple data sources to try and answer the following guiding questions:
- Which information can we use from linked data sources, including those that use BIBFRAME, that shows how works, instances, or items might be related?
- Which APIs and mechanisms are available to navigate this data?
- How often can we find connections between our catalog data and these work-related semantic data? We found both challenges with respect to understanding data at an aggregate level and opportunities for using these data sources to provide relationships between library catalog items or additional context for library catalog items.
