Abstract

Hiring managers are typically middle level management making hiring decisions infrequently throughout the year. In a typical year, middle managers are hiring approximately two new employees to their team. When these managers make decisions, they may not realize the importance of diversity and inclusion. By engaging middle managers in diversity and inclusion practices, this should then be reflected in their hiring practices.
