Abstract

A search of the agricultural literature shows that the use of meta-analysis techniques is increasing each year. As with systematic reviews, an important component of a meta-analysis is the inclusion of details of databases searched, search terms used, and criteria for inclusion. This study examines crop-related meta-analyses from 2011 to 2015 to determine the extent to which the authors included those details. A special focus is the extent to which authors included subject-specific databases, such as CAB Abstracts, in their searches.
