Abstract

A 6-year-old intact male English Bulldog presented to Cornell University Hospital for Animals with a perianal abscess. The wound was cleaned and debrided, and a vacuum-assisted closure (VAC) system was placed over the wound. The patient was given supportive care and had two VAC replacements before the wound was surgically closed.
