Abstract

This second edition of Connections features the professional masters program, highlights two popular Mlng.(flectrkal) group projects, the Cornell Electric Vehicle Design Project and the Digital Audio Research Environment, and describes two new research programs in the EE School, Electronic Packaging and the Joint Services Electronics Program (JSEP) on Optoelectronics. This issue also reviews recent faculty accomplishments, announces one new faculty member and one recent faculty retirement, memorializes a late member of the faculty, introduces a new NSF Young Investigator (NYI) awardee, and presents the first of a series of profiles of outstanding young faculty members.
