Being the 40th story compiled since April, 2013. Dr. Smith paused about one-third of the way through his writing during this 150th AVMA anniversary year to thank colleagues, staff and close friends, for their support and diligence, to his contributing authors and co-authors for adding depth and perspective, and to the supporters at the Zoetis company for their confidence in this body of work and their commitment to enhancing veterinary education.
