Description
The author was an employee of the U.S. Census Bureau at the time the paper was written and published, which places this paper in the public domain. Therefore, the American Statistical Association cannot claim copyright in the United States. There are no other known digital archives of the ASA's conference proceedings from this time period. Lawrence Cox's work on statistical disclosure limitation from the 1970s-1990s is still widely cited. This deposit makes it possible to read this key contribution to the literature.
