"A Half Century of Norm Scott: A Biological Engineering Symposium" saluted a distinguished career of service and leadership on November 3, 2011. Former students, colleagues, friends at the University of Nebraska and fellow administrators characterized their interactions with Norm Scott and characterized the numerous aspects of his multi-facted role at Cornell of many years – as a graduate student, a faculty member, a department chair, a college director of research, and a university vice president for university-wide research management and related academic policies.
