Abstract

This book is dedicated to the combination of coding-related technologies and architecture design. The courses that the author had chosen at Cornell have ignited her passion in the field of computer modeling and programming. In Passive Play Design Studio, game-level design and game-related E-arena design will be displayed. The chapter on Simulation: Homophily and Algorithm shows the author's ability to design blueprints and AI behavior trees in Unreal Engine. Moreover, more relevant skills such as environmental design and character animation will appear in the following chapter of Advanced Game Design. In the design studio of Design and Making Across Disciplines, one can see interactive architecture conducted through the collaboration between architecture and computer media students. In Coding for Design, the author learned basic knowledge in CSharp programming and computer graphics. Some experimental studio work is collected in the appendix.
