Abstract

I continually assess, reimagine, and reconfigure the material and experiential qualities of violence, space, gender, language, and memory through film, installation, and sculpture. I am exploring potential ways of revealing and conjuring multiple meanings in a single work and investigating different degrees of precarity and the tension between fear and humor. However, I also try to avoid any authoritarian moralist sentiments and traps when I start making my work. My methodology is in the act of hand-working the artistic process.
