Abstract

Memorial Statement for Professor Pierre Augustine Fish, D.Sc., D.V.M. (1865-1931) who was Assistant Professor (1896) and Professor (1901) of Physiology at the New York State Veterinary College. He was a member of the original faculty of the Veterinary College, was Secretary of the College for 29 years, and became its Dean (1929-1931). Professor Fish was recognized for his talent for scientific investigation and was interested in problems in education, research and administration. He also served as Editor of "The Cornell Veterinarian" (1912-1915). The memorial statements contained herein were prepared by the Office of the Dean of the University Faculty of Cornell University to honor its faculty for their service to the university.
