Abstract

A white paper on legal issues associated with the preservation of online and licensed music. The issue of how to acquire, preserve, and provide access to music that is only available in downloadable and/or streaming format is complicated. A legislative solution would provide the most comprehensive solution, but is also one of the most difficult to implement. A combination of approaches, therefore, is likely to be the approach that will have to be followed.
