Memorial Statement for Professor Gary Robert Bolton, D.V.M. (1942-1982) who was Assistant Professor (1970) and Associate Professor (1974) of Small Animal Medicine at the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine. A gifted teacher, "his primary interest was cardiology, which he developed into a productive referral service and teaching program for students and practitioners." In his short career, he authored over 30 publications, including "Handbook of Canine Electrocardiography" which became a leading text in Veterinary Cardiology.
