High yield potential due to correct soil pH, organic matter, drainage, and structure; use of quality seeds of responsive varieties; even and proper distribution of plant population; pest control; avoidance of phytotoxic substances in the soil and atmosphere; and proper crop rotation will increase yield response due to fertilizers.
