NABC Report 21: Adapting Agriculture to Climate Change

Mearns, Linda
Abstract

Scientists rely on computer modeling based on climate-change information to predict future trends. The US Climate Change Science Program in 2008 released a report on the impact of climate change on agriculture, water resources, etc. It looked at things from an experimental point of view. The projection was less optimistic than the one provided by the IPPC. Today the emphasis is on the next 25 years, showing how seriously the problem is being taken.
